Roll out a menu or price change across stores
How to change menus, prices and promotions across many stores and ordering channels without missing one.
A franchise sells through its own webshop and several delivery apps, across many stores. One price change can mean dozens of edits, and a missed one shows up as a complaint.
Start from one master list
Keep one list of items, prices and availability by store. Every channel should match it. Make the change there first.
Roll out in order
Update the channels in the same order every time, and record each one as done. Schedule changes for a quiet trading period, and tell the stores before customers see the new prices.
Check what went live
After the rollout, compare each channel with the master list. Look for missing items, old prices and stores marked unavailable by mistake. Fix those before the next trading peak.
Where an agent helps
The comparison is repetitive work. An agent can run it after each change and list the differences. A person decides what to fix and confirms the result.
