A short, honest
privacy policy.
This is a personal site. It exists to show my work, not to harvest data. Here is everything it collects, why, and what happens to it.

Analytics
The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance — things like which pages are visited and how fast they load. These tools are designed to work without cookies and without tracking you across other sites, and I only ever see anonymized, aggregated numbers.
The chat assistant
If you use the chat widget, the messages you type are sent to OpenAI's API to generate a reply. Treat the chat like a public conversation: don't paste anything sensitive or personal into it. To prevent abuse, requests to the chat are rate-limited by IP address; the IP is used for that counting and nothing else.
Error monitoring
The site can report technical errors to Sentry so I can fix breakages. These reports describe what went wrong in the code — they are not used to profile visitors.
Email and the shop
There are no contact forms here — the contact page opens your own mail client, and anything you choose to send me lives in my inbox like any other email. Purchases in the shop are handled entirely by third-party checkout providers on their own sites; this site never sees your payment details.
What this site doesn't do
No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of data, no newsletter list quietly building in the background. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Questions
If you want anything you've sent me deleted, or you have any question about the above, email jason@jslabs.xyz and I'll sort it out.
